Rachel's Bridal Skin Journey

'I can’t thank the girls enough for making me feel so confident and beautiful on one of the best days of my life, I’ll be forever thankful'.

A little insight from Rachel's point of view,

I had been visiting the beautiful East girls for some time, having regular sauna’s and LED’s. Five months out from my wedding, my skin became extremely inflamed and angry, with the main cause being gut health. I became very insecure and embarrassed of my skin. Taylah, the in house naturopath created a very detailed protocol to solve what was going on inside while Tessa focused on what I was using at home topically and created a game plan for my treatments. I just loved that the girls did all the planning to ensure I could just relax! My experience with the girls taught me to make my skin health and self care a priority not a chore.

My skin went from being extremely red, inflamed, angry and sore to healthy, hydrated and bloody glowing! I can’t thank the girls enough for making me feel so confident and beautiful on one of the best days of my life, I’ll be forever thankful.

A little behind the scenes from our therapist Tessa,

The first step was to sit down with Rach and get an understanding of Rach and her skin before we started doing treatments, so we could create a plan that would best fit her using Osmosis Skincare. Our goal was to get her skin feeling and looking the best it could while rebuilding the skins barrier. Rachel's skin at this point was quite inflamed and irritated with acne papules sitting underneath the skin from her cheeks to below her jaw. Our first couple of treatments were designed to be calming and gentle to reduce the inflammation sitting underneath the Epidermis layer.

We always started off with a double cleanse using 'Cleanse' which is a gentle cleanser to prevent stripping the skins PH levels, we went on to do an LED treatment to control and calm active breakouts. While we were still building up the skins barrier we stayed away from active ingredients to avoid the skin being irritated further. We were then able to follow through using the Revita Pen, the perfect non-invasion tool to enhance product absorption for immediate results. With the Revita Pen we used 'Rescue Epidermal Repair Serum' which was also apart of Rachel's home care. Rescue neutralises toxins, calms inflammation and activates epidermal healing.

Finishing off Rachel's treatments we would use 'Cucumber Mint Mask', 'Mango Mask' and 'Quench' moisturiser. Cucumber Mint is a fantastic balancing mask to help cool and refresh the skin following by Mango Mask to nourish, hydrate and restore skin’s lipid barrier. To complete the ritual we finished with Quench to lock in all the moisture while still being lightweight on top of our other finishing products. We created her perfect home care routine which we kept simple and achievable to give the results she needed. This included Cleanse, Rescue, Clarify (Blemish Prone Vitamin A Serum) once her barrier got stronger, Mango Mask 3 times a week leaving it on overnight, finishing with Hydrate moisturiser and Protect ( SPF 30)

Rachel kept her facials close together roughly 2-4 weeks apart, this looked like a 60 minute ritual with a Booster ritual in between, whilst also maintaining weekly LED Treatments in our LED Light Lounge.

Rach's skin had shown so much improvement just after the one facial, it was looking calm with less breakouts and overall less irritated. Over the next couple of facials as Rach’s barrier was improving we were able to incorporate 'Polish' a Cranberry Enzyme Mask to smooth and gently remove damaged cells, we were then able to continue using the Revita Pen to increase product production to penetrate several high-dose active ingredients into the dermis while also adding personalised powder blends and actives to support the skin even further.

Alongside seeing Taylah our Naturopath, Rachel focused on not only treating the skin topically but internally, supporting long lasting results.
